• Luggage Policy:

 

No luggage, including small carry-ons and oversize backpacks, is allowed into the Gallery. The  Gallery reserves the right to have a discretionary policy regarding what can, and cannot, be checked at the entrance.

 

 

• Group Visits:

 

Advance reservations (Tel.:+389 46 251 935 or E-mail: galicon@t.mk are desirable for all groups of ten or more adults, or ten or more students with chaperones.

 

 

• The Gallery Store:

 

Located at the entrance, the Gallery Store features publications and post cards as well as other    merchandise related to the collection and special exhibitions.

 

 

• Gallery Photography Policy:

 

No still photography, filming or videotaping is permitted in the Icon Gallery-Ohrid. For press and other special photography, including filming and videotape projects, a special permission by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia, the Cultural Heritage Protection Office-Skopje, NI Institute for Protection of the Monuments of Culture and Museum-Ohrid (Tel.:+389 46 231 301 or +389 46 251 935 or E-mail: galicon@t.mk, or other relevant Institutions in the Republic of Macedonia is required.

 

• Sketching and Copying:

 

Sketching with pencil, felt tip, ballpoint, crayon, pastel, and charcoal is permitted in the Gallery. The use of ink, fountain pen, and watercolor is prohibited. While sketching, please do not hinder the normal traffic flow in the Gallery. To copy works in the Gallery with tempera or oil paint, you must obtain a permission from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia, the Cultural Heritage Protection Office-Skopje, NI Institute for Protection of the Monuments of Culture and Museum-Ohrid (Tel.:+389 46 231 301 or +389 46 251 935 or E-mail: galicon@t.mk, or other relevant Institutions in the Republic of Macedonia.
